This policy applies only to Brass Edge Photography and not to other companies' or organizations' web sites to which our web site is linked.

Collection of information

Information is collected from you only if your consent is given. For example, if you sign up for my free newsletter, you will be required to provide me with your email address. This email address will be used for the sole purpose of sending you your free newsletter and nothing else. Any information you provide us with will not be sold or distributed to any third party and will not be used by Brass Edge Photography for anything other than the original purpose intended.

Brass Edge Photography collects two types of information. The first type is anonymous information. For instance, web site statistics collected, as an example tell me that five hundred people visited this web page today, but I do not know their names, email address, where they live or their date of birth - they are 'anonymous' to me. Many of the individuals who access my services are anonymous.

The second type of information that Brass Edge Photography collects is personal information. Brass Edge Photography will collect personal information that lets me know the specifics of who you are such as your name, email address, or postal address, when you provide it to me. With this information, Brass Edge Photography can send you products and communicate through email with you.

We will specifically ask for personal information about you when you sign up to purchase our services and or products. Certain information may be required, such as your name, billing address, in order to provide our service or product to you.

How much of your personal information that you choose to disclose to Brass Edge Photography is completely up to you. The only way I know something about you personally is if you provide it to me, for example when you take part in a special promotion on the web site you may decide to provide me with your contact information.

Use of anonymous information

Brass Edge Photography automatically gathers anonymous information to monitor the use of the web site. Such data is used in the aggregate. This collective data helps me determine how much the audience uses parts of the site, so I can improve the web site to assure that it is as appealing as I can make it for as many users as possible.

Use of personal information

Brass Edge Photography will only use the personal information you have chosen to provide for the purpose for which you provided it. Brass Edge Photography will not use it for any other purpose without your consent.

Disclosure

There may be occasions where it will be necessary for Brass Edge Photography to disclose your personal information to third parties. I may be required by law to disclose the information, or I may be required to disclose your personal information to third parties to provide the service you have requested, for example, if you require printing from us, Brass Edge Photography will need to disclose your personal information to third parties in order to bill and deliver your prints. However, the disclosure will only be made where it is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which you disclosed your personal information. Otherwise than stated above, I do not disclose personal information that you may give us, such as your name, address, email address or telephone number, to any organization or person outside Brass Edge Photography unless you have authorized us to do so.
